Overview
Octopus is building a small, thoughtful TechOps team and they’re on the lookout for a TechOps Architect.
It’s not a traditional IT setup – TechOps at Octopus is more modern, lean, and cloud-first. They focus on advising rather than enforcing, giving people the tools and freedom to solve problems in the way that works best for them.
The role itself is pretty broad: from identity and device management to automation and scalable tooling. You’d be setting direction, mentoring the team, and making strategic decisions – but also staying close to the day-to-day challenges so you can see the real impact of your work.
They’re looking for someone with deep technical knowledge, especially around identity and access management, scripting/automation, and supporting macOS and Windows – plus the judgment to keep things simple and sustainable.
If you’re into solving meaningful problems and shaping how TechOps works in a fast-growing, people-first company, this looks like an exciting opportunity.
