Overview
The National Deaf Children’s Society is seeking a Supporter Retention Fundraiser to manage direct response fundraising campaigns that strengthen supporter loyalty and increase lifetime value. This role focuses on delivering thoughtful, well-managed campaigns that build lasting relationships with supporters.
The postholder will plan and deliver direct mail, email and telephone fundraising activity, taking a hands-on approach from brief through to delivery. They will actively monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and use insight to improve future activity. Working closely with the Supporter Retention team and wider fundraising and marketing colleagues, they will help ensure a consistent and high-quality supporter experience.
A key part of the role is developing a strong understanding of why people support the charity and using this knowledge to inform testing, learning and innovation. The role also offers opportunities to learn from colleagues and the wider sector to enhance skills and impact.
Applicants should have experience managing direct response campaigns across mail, email or telephone channels, with a clear commitment to supporter loyalty and customer experience. A good understanding of GDPR and related compliance requirements is essential, along with the ability to interpret campaign data and identify improvements. Strong digital skills and familiarity with agile ways of working are also required. Appointment is subject to a DBS check.
