Overview
Doist is hiring a remote Apple Engineer to help deliver a seamless experience across iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS. The company, creator of Todoist and Twist, values Ambition, Mastery, Independence, and Communication.
In this role, the engineer will design, build, and maintain reliable Swift code, modernize the codebase, and contribute to new features that improve productivity for millions of users. Collaboration with designers, product managers, and other engineers is key, alongside mentoring teammates and improving overall code quality.
Requirements:
Extensive experience developing production-ready software for Apple platforms
Strong knowledge of Swift, UIKit (and optionally SwiftUI), and Apple Human Interface Guidelines
Expertise in testing, persistence (Core Data/GRDB), performance optimisation, and CI/CD pipelines
Autonomous, proactive, and effective communicator in remote teams
